An anthem you can only hear facing the water

Short version · 195 words
Pulse Audio has put an anthem on a Kaohsiung pier for the harbor festival, and the anthem has a front. Eight speakers face the water. Stand in the cone and the chord is whole. Turn toward the street and the middle drops out. The behavior is the composition. A phone cannot repair it, because the mix is the place.
There is no download. Editors received the list of players and the rule, not the file. A file would flatten a directional piece into something you finish elsewhere. The first public listening has a limited number of bodies, set so the pier does not become a crowd. Before that hour, the pier is still a pier: water, then the chord, mixed quietly enough not to shout over a working harbor.
The story ran where editors accepted the limit. The Lantern recorded it and wrote that the recording had failed. Tejo kept that report short. South Current led with the coast. Desk Tokyo published the diagram. Costa Folio called it a night you catch or miss. An anthem is a large word for eight boxes and a direction. The scale, if it comes, belongs to whoever stops.
